"Cartoon Using 'a' Words" is one of over two hundred movies in the English Literacy programme called Now Read This.

This movie is a page of attaractive and amusing illustrations of everyday situations. Each image is accompanied by large colourful lettering that adds to the meaning of the image.Clicking on the caption allows the words to be heard out loud.
The focus words that are used in these cartoons are simple ones that contain the first vowel 'a'.
